I live on the UK's east coast in a quiet town called Lowestoft. I was born in London where my dad was a Pastor. It was through my parents I became a Christian but I went away from the Lord a few times. My first proper employment was when I moved out to Surrey where I became a Postman. Then I became a motorcycle courier, living a semi-biker lifestyle in various places in London and Surrey. I graduated to riding a Taxi-Bike (yes they do exist!) I met all sorts of interesting people, but eventually got bored. I'd always been moving, but had never travelled. So I left the 'bike and went around Europe by train for a month. By the time I had got back I'd taken the decision to leave London. A friend of mine was running a home in Lowestoft for ex-offenders and I asked if he needed help. So I moved up here. But my travel bug wasn't sated and I hatched a plan to cycle around Europe. The story is at www.cycleeurope.gb.com Before this I had joined the Territorial Army. I returned from Europe to find my call up papers waiting. Then followed six months in Iraq, which I’ve recently returned from. I'm working with the disadvantaged again, but still have a huge desire to travel.
