Back Again

I have missed my place in history. Possibly. The death of my ADSL magic box thing coincided with a whole load of work, which meant I was offline whilst the most important elections in the World were taking place. I could have changed the results I'm sure, I could have beguiled the American public with empassioned and enlightened treatise on why to vote differently. Ah, so often history swivels on the smallest thing. How could things have been different if Muhammed had said "you know, I don't fancy going to the cave today", or Archduke Franz Ferninand's driver had said "hold on, let's look at that map again before we go".

Yeah, right. Isn't it the common mindset of webloggers, especialy political webloggers, to think that thousands of folks are reading their musings? Or is it just me?
